There are so many golf courses in Algarve that even if you have been there it is unlikely that you are acquainted with all of them.

This is the second oldest Algarve golf course. It is set in an umbrella pinewood and laid out in an interesting way to take advantage of the natural contours.
Algarve golf courses: Silves - Silves Golf - 18 holes
This latest golf course in the Algarve belongs to the Pestana Group. The course is surrounded by typical Algarve fruit orchards and small farms.
Algarve golf courses: Lagos – Palmares – 27 holes
This golf course has been totally transformed by the the American course designer Robert Trent Jones Jr. He has created a mixture of parkland with authentic links style.
Algarve golf courses: Alvor - Alto Golf – 18 holes
This golf course is located between the town of Portimão and the sea and close enough to the latter to give the player an occasional sea view.
Algarve golf courses: Albufeira - Pine Cliffs – 9 holes
A 9 holes green, set amidst pine trees and located at the cliff top near Albufeira. Main feature of the course is its ninth over a ravine with beautiful views down on the sandy beach, locally nicknamed the 'Devil’s Parlour'.

This is a very friendly par-3 course with nine holes close to the coastal village of Carvoeiro. Being only 926 metres in length it is a excellent course for beginners to practice and regular players to improve on their short game.

Located within the well known Quinta do Lago estate this course enjoys a solid reputation. Within the golfing world it is known as providing a mental challenge due to well placed hazards.
Algarve golf courses - Tavira – Monte Rei – 18 holes
This new outstanding 'signature' course by Jack Nicklaus offers everything a player would expect of this international golfer and designer. The course is laid out in the rolling hills to the north of the 'Via Infante (A22)' motorway. Each hole presents an attractive visual challenge combining a variety of factors to ensure golfers of most standards can play the course with enjoyment and challenge at every hole.
