The Algarve is the most southern part of Portugal. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the Algarve is ideal for winter rentals. With an average of 5 to 6 hours sunshine per day, and an average temperature during the day around 20 degrees, lots of people choose the Algarve for winter rentals. The mild winters in the Algarve are a good base for winter rentals. Algarve Housing has many villas ideal for winter rentals. Bear in mind that during the day it can be nice temperatures, but as soon as the sun goes down, it can be pretty fresh. There for we advise to choose a good villa for your winter rental.
What are good villas for winter rentals?
The winter villa need to have heating. Most winter villas have a wood burning stove and/or central heating, or electric heaters. Long term winter rentals give nice cheap prices, but make sure your heating costs will not expand your rent! Algarve Housing can advise you on this. But most of all, enjoying a nice glass of wine around the fire, how romantic. During your stay in the Algarve in the winter, there is much more entertainment, like classical concerts, or do you like to play cards with others? Many places organize bridge drives. Or pamper your self in one of the spa and wellness resorts with a nice massage!
