About the Place

Casa Lavender was completed in 2006 . This 3 bedroom house is situated in a lush valley between the historic town of Silves and the market town of Messines. This quiet location is ideal for relaxing away from the madding crowd.
But is less than 30 minutes to the beach.
The house has an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen and 3 large twin bedrooms all of which are en-suite, one of which has a bath. Outside there is a covered terrace and dining area overlooking the garden, which includes a huge hardwood deck, pool, lawn and BBQ area. A very nice, luxury place to be! Close to Silves, 12 km, for nice bars and restaurants and lots of festivals in the Summer.

This modern style villa is made for convenience, relax and enjoy. The open kitchen is very well equipped with oven, hob and dishwasher plus utility room with washing machine. The open plan dining/lounge/kitchen is spacious and tastfull. There is satellite TV, DVD and CD/radio player. A woodburning stove gives cosy heat for any fresh winter evenings. All rooms have aircon/heating units (extra costs). All 3 twin bedrooms are en-suite, have built in wardrobes and have tasty colours. There is one bath and two walk-in showers. All spacious and luxe.

Provisional booking can be made by Email. A contract will be sent by return, by Email. Within 7 days of provisional booking, a deposit of 50% of the total agreed price and the signed contract should be returned to us. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. You will then receive a booking confirmation. Bookings made less than 6 weeks from arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking. A damage deposit of 250 Euro must be paid on arrival, refundable on departure.
Guests can access the property from 16.00 hours on day of arrival and must vacate the property by 10.00 on day of departure.

After your booking, we will wait for confirmation from the owner, to make sure the villa of your choice is available. You can always email or call us first to be sure the dates requested is available. Check what the change over day is, some villa’s are flexible, but many have fixed days. All villas are flexible in low season, and some in mid season. Next to the prices we have a tag which tells you this.

What else you get

We provide towels and linen, but please bring your own beach towel. A clean villa, however, we ask you to leave the property tidy at the end, no dirty dishes, and please remove your rubbish and empty bottles; We are happy to assist you with any car hire, outdoor activities, at home catering and babysitting arrangements you may need. Most villa’s, the owner supply a welcome refreshment, like a bottle of wine, some fruit, water and or some snacks and we try to have in all the villa’s information about things to do in the Algarve and local maps. We also invite you to our blog, where we inform you about things to do in the Algarve, information about the Algarve, Special offers, new villa’s we take on. You can subscribe to our blog, so you will never miss any information.

Car Hire

As you know by now, this house is in a semi rural location. In our opinion, this makes a hire car or mini-bus essential.
We would also reccomend hiring viechles fitted with air conditioning for periods between June and September.

We can take care of all of the arrangements, choose from the various options, email us your requirements, we will provide you with a fixed quote, and your car will be ready for collection at Faro airport on your arrival. You simply drop the car back at the airport when you return.
