This property sits in a quiet valley dotted with Almond, Carob, Cork and fruit trees and is only a 10 minutes drive from Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy kilometres of white long stretched sandy beaches, wild dunes and turquoise waters. Traditional fishing town Olhao (15mins drive) with its picturesque cobbled streets, Moorish architecture and daily fish and fruit market (best in the Algarve!). From your doorstep, many trails to walk in the ‘Barrocal’ hills infused by thyme and lavender. Plus many world class golf courses located just minutes away.

The house is typical of this region with thick lime-washed stone walls with timber and cane ceilings. It boasts a large kitchen and dining area with equipment (fridge, freezer, gas hob, micro-wave, dish washer, electric oven and washing machine), a lounge with a wood burning stove, satellite TV, DVD, CD stereo & Internet (dongle). Bedroom 1 - double bed, shared bathroom with hydro massage bath/shower Bedroom 2 - double bed, en-suite with shower Bedroom 3 - double bed and 2 small beds for children in alcove room, en-suite with shower Bedroom 4 - twin beds, shared bathroom with bath/shower There is a meditation pavilion, with double bed and has an outdoor bath and shower. All in this entire holiday villa makes the ideal getaway for a large family or groups of friends.

We provide towels and linen, but please bring your own beach towel. A clean villa, however, we ask you to leave the property tidy at the end, no dirty dishes, and please remove your rubbish and empty bottles; We are happy to assist you with any car hire, outdoor activities, at home catering and babysitting arrangements you may need. Most villa’s, the owner supply a welcome refreshment, like a bottle of wine, some fruit, water and or some snacks and we try to have in all the villa’s information about things to do in the Algarve and local maps. We also invite you to our blog, where we inform you about things to do in the Algarve, information about the Algarve, Special offers, new villa’s we take on. You can subscribe to our blog, so you will never miss any information.

As you know by now, this house is in a semi rural location. In our opinion, this makes a hire car or mini-bus essential.
We would also reccomend hiring viechles fitted with air conditioning for periods between June and September.

We can take care of all of the arrangements, choose from the various options, email us your requirements, we will provide you with a fixed quote, and your car will be ready for collection at Faro airport on your arrival. You simply drop the car back at the airport when you return.
