Casa Jacaranda is named after the large tree in front of the villa Silves, which has beautiful purple flowers in the spring of the Algarve. The major asset of Casa Jacaranda is undoubtedly its peaceful and lush green surroundings in total privacy. In this villa Silves you cannot be overlooked by anything or anyone. The beautifully designed and detached villa Silves is situated just off the main road. The villa is completely surrounded by mature foliage, offering 100% privacy and a good degree of safety for children since little traffic passes here.

Accommodation

Casa Jacaranda offers a very comfortable holiday villa with sleeps up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms. There is a sofa bed for extra guests available in the lounge. The huge and cosy lounge has comfortable sofas and easy chairs that face the pool area making it possible to relax and unwind while keeping an eye on your children in the pool. The lounge has SKY channels (free sat), a DVD/Video player and a Sony stereo mini system. For the little ones, there is a wooden cot, high chair and travel cot available.

All bedrooms of the villa Silves are beautifully decorated and furnished with high quality, comfortable furniture.

Bedroom 1: this bedroom of the villa Silves has an en-suite bathroom and is situated at the first floor. The balcony with its table and chairs can be reached through patio doors. The views from the balcony at the pool and the countryside really are stunning. What a way to wake up in the morning with this fantastic view!

Bedroom 2: this bedroom with en-suite bathroom is situated at the ground floor. It has patio doors that lead to a small terrace to the side of the house.

Bedroom 3 + 4: these two large spacious rooms of the villa Silves are situated at the ground floor. Both have one single bed plus Z bed for 2 persons, if required. One bedroom has got a children's desk for reading, colouring or other activities. The other bedroom has got an integral TV/DVD-player, ideal for a moment of rest for your children. The two bedrooms share one bathroom.

Bedroom 5: this hideaway room lies on the first floor and has its own en-suite bathroom and separate entrance. From the private balcony with space for two charis, you have the most amazing views!

Bedroom 6: this bedroom is actually a huge and spacious studio at ground level. It is situated only a few metres away from the main villa and swimming pool. Basically it is self containing with cooking facilities and fridge, TV (with SKY), sofa, stereo, en-suite bathroom and small terrace. The studio of the villa Silves is an ideal place for those who prefer a little bit of privacy within a big party.

The kitchen of the villa Silves is supplied with everything the present owners could think of to ensure a comfortable stay at Casa Jacaranda. The whole villa Silves is air-conditioned with Samsung units. The view at the surrounding countryside really takes your breath away. It is a rarity that such a spacious and stylish villa is offered for rental!

Outside

The huge lounge overlooks the pool area which is directly in front. This location makes the supervision of children in the pool easy whilst sheltering from the hot sun.

Another area from which children can be clearly seen in the pool, is the elevated sun bathing area with loungechairs. This lovely breezy spot offers magnificent views all over the countryside.

The villa Silves is surrounded by lovely gardens with flowers and nicely lawned areas. The gazebo housing and jacuzzi are for  guest's use. Relax and unwind and enjoy the lush countryside views!

Surroundings

Car hire is highly recommended although Silves town is only a 3 minutes drive away from the villa Silves. The town offers a number of interesting areas including a medieval castle which you can visit. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in Silves Algarve but if this is not lively enough for you, Carvoeiro or Portimao are just down the road! You can reach these resorts within 15-20 mins by car.

Zoomarine and Aqualand splash parks are also approx 20 mins drive away. Slide & Splash is a mere 10 mins drive. Other activities are jeep or dolphin safaris, sailing, walking, cycling, tennis and horse riding.The Algarve is famous for its golf courses and there are several greens in the area including the huge Oceanica near Silves just down the road. 

A fabulous little restaurant and bar is open throughout the week just 500 metres from the villa Silves. Within a 15 mins drive from Casa Jacaranda you will find the coast with nice beaches to attend, like Armacao de Pera, Albufeira, and Carvoeiro.
