About the Place

Casa Lagoa, located on Quinta Algarve and is situated near Estombar/Lagoa, Portugal in the center of the Algarve. The Casa Lagoa located in the middle of a family owned historic wine and fruit estate of nearly 5 hectares. A combination of art, wine and holiday accommodations makes this a special place to spend your holiday in the Algarve. The Casa Lagoa is one of the 5 private holiday accommodations Algarve, that sleeps 4 persons. In total (5 holiday villas), the Quinta can accommodate a total of 50 guests!

On the Quinta Algarve itself they grow and produce their own wine. A variety of high quality wines which have been produced under the supervision of highly professional oenologists can be tasted “on-site” in our newly renovated tasting room – the Sala de Prova.
The owner of Quinta Algarve bought this 50 hectares large property in 2001, and turned a sleepy wine farm into an internationally recognized wine making estate, holiday retreat and center for arts and events. A place full of surprises. Four Seasons, sleeps up to 16 guests is on the same grounds as Casa Lagoa.

What could be better for wine lovers than a blessing among the vineyards of Quinta Algarve? The 50 hectares estate offers a choice of fully serviced and equipped holiday apartments and villas where we can accommodate up to 50 guests on site. In the covered area overlooking the sculpture garden and vineyard, we can cater for up to 300 lucky guests.

Accommodation Casa Lagoa

Casa Lagoa, is an old farmer cottage with walls up to 70 cm wide, located in the middle of the Quinta Algarve,  with the charm of a house which was built in the early days of the last century.

At the same time the Casa Lagoa, does have after a complete renovation in 2008 and 2009 all the advantages which modern building technologies offer.
Surrounded by wine, plum trees and animal area the Casa Lagoa has autonomies and privacy. The chosen materials (natural stone, wood, terracotta tiles) underline the country style of the Casa Lagoa.

Casa Lagoa is a cosy holiday villa Algarve, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, small living room and modern kitchen. The two bedrooms of the Casa Lago are on the first floor, one bedroom is en-suite, the second bathroom is downstairs. There is an extra zip bed for a 5th guest. The bedrooms and lounge of Casa Lagoa have air-conditioning.
The kitchen of Casa Lagoa is well equipped with electric hob, oven, fridge, dish washer and washing machine.
The living room of the holiday villa Algarve, has a TV set, SAT TV and DVD player.
The Casa Lagoa has its own private pool with private relaxing areas and BBQ.
Ideal for a family with children or 2 couples.

Outside

Casa Lagoa is part of the Quinta Algarve, meaning there are lots of extra facilities such as a large common pool area, children's playground, tennis court, bar, terrace and restaurant area. There is an animal farm, and through out the Quinta you find various sculpture and art exhibitions. As the Quinta Algarve produces their own, well renowned wine, wine tastings are organized!

Surroundings

The Casa Lagoa is less than ten minutes drive from beaches, and the bustling city of Portimao, the historic city of Silves and the fishing villages of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo.  Quinta Algarve offers a holiday in the Algarve to remember combining luxury and tranquility with beautiful surroundings.
Other activities such as sailing, diving, mountain biking, jeep and dolphin safaris, are all around the corner and easy to organize.
The other holiday villas Algarve are also on the Quinta Algarve, but all have their own privacy, and located far away form each other.
There is one holiday villa with private, heated pool that sleeps up to 16, there is a group of 4 apartments that sleeps each 4 persons, another holiday villa that sleeps 5 and the last holiday villa sleeps up to 9 persons. Please ask for any further details, prices and availability.
