Accommodation

The villa Silves has been tastefully decorated throughout by the owner, who is an interior designer, specializes in the Asian style, to enhance the relaxing ambiance. Rich Cambodian silk has been used together with fine Portuguese cotton, prompting one interior critic to describe it as "Ethnic chic meets Portuguese villa".

The split level open plan living room of villa Silves, has comfortable sitting area, a wood burning fireplace and glass doors leading onto the terrace. Casa Cumeada provides satellite TV, DVD and a CD player are provided.

The kitchen is at the the north side of the villa Silves and is fully fitted and well equipped, with dish washer, fridge/freezer, micro wave.

The villa Silves has 5 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 10 guests. One bedroom is in a separate apartment, with its own entrance, on the first floor, with magnificent views towards the coast. The separate apartment of Casa Cumeada consists a bedroom with double bed, a kitchenette open to sitting area, and chair long to relax and enjoy the views. Villa Silves is ideal for families with gransparents!

The other 4 bedrooms of the villa Silves you find all downstairs. Each bedroom is decorated in a different style and has a fine atmosphere. There are two double beds and two twin rooms. 1 en-suite and there are two further shared bathrooms.

The villa Silves has a nice mixture of Portuguese and Asian styles.

Outside

Casa Cumeada located on a ridge that means both sides of the villa Silves has fantastic views. The front (north) has superb views over the rolling hills towards Monchique. The back of villa Silves is the south facing part, with lush views towards the coast.

At the back you find a nice, covered terrace with table and chairs, and looks over the tropical gardens, pool and BBQ area.

The gardens of villa Silves makes this villa so special. As you can see in the photo's, this magnificent garden is a tropical paradise, with established palm trees, figs, mango's, oranges, hibiscus and more. A bit further down the garden of villa Silves, you find many fruit trees, and feel free to pick your self some fresh fruits.

The large private swimming pool (salt) of Casa Cumeada has plenty of sun loungers, shady gazebo, and a terrace for dining and wining, Casa Cumeada, villa Silves a true tropical paradise!

The pool is surrounded by matured palm and date trees providing dappled shade like a large natural umbrella. At the end of the garden of villa Silves, is a covered BBQ area and a children's play area with swings and a climbing frame. A mini adventure playground.

Surroundings

Although Casa Cumeada  is situated in the interior of the Algarve, all necessary facilities and highlights are within small distance from the villa Silves.

The old fairy-like Silves, the former Moorish capital of the Algarve, is only a few kilometers away from the villa Silves. It’s a pleasant town on a hill with cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and a castle. Market town Messines is a typical Portuguese village with an authentic center, sunny terraces and charming cafés.

From the villa Silves towards the beautiful coast of the Algarve is only 20 minutes by car. Here you’ll find lively coastal resorts as well as small fishing villages where you can still experience a Portuguese atmosphere. The coastal area of the Algarve is spectacular with its golden rock formations and attractive sandy beaches.

If you are looking for an active holiday, there are lots of possibilities for snorkeling, diving, sailing, jet skiing, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis and golf. You can also go on a dolphin or jeep safari.
