Quinta Queimada, is a charming, rustic farmhouse for rent in the Algarve, situated within a 3.5 ha plot on top of a small hill, about 10km east of Silves in the central Algarve.
Farmhouse Silves has panoramic views and its unrivaled position almost guarantees privacy and tranquility.
From its hilltop position, it has stunning mountain views and is ideal place for exploring this area on foot, mountain bike or horseback. If you are looking for a lush, beautiful, peaceful farmhouse in the Algarve, away from the crowds, but not too far from all amenities and the coast, Quinta Queimada, farmhouse Silves, fits the bill and is great base for exploring this beautiful region.

Accommodation

The restored, rustic farmhouse Silves, has 430 m2 built area, which offers you a perfect holiday farmhouse in the Algarve. Quinta Queimda has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Algarve and is furnished in a rustic farm house style, which gives a cosy atmosphere.
All 3 three bedrooms have twin beds, and are all en-suite with showers, the master bedroom has a little (sitting) bath.
The lounge has a sat. TV, DVD, CD player and Wifi.. The farm house kitchen and dining room is well equipped with among others a dishwasher, fidge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave and has a round table and chairs. There is no washing machine but a free laundry service on Wednesday.

Outside

The 35000 m2 private area of Quinta Queimada Silves, gives you privacy,  peace, and stunning country side views. The farmhouse Algarve offers you plenty of spaces to relax and unwind and is set up for outdoor living.
Outside you will find beautiful Bougainvillea covered terraces, from where you can enjoy the well established gardens below, and the superb mountains views. The farm house Silves was originally a fruit farm and within the grounds the fruits available include oranges, lemons, grapes and figs. Pick your own fresh fruit!
Furthermore the farmhouse Silves has two barbecue areas and a private swimming pool with sun and shady areas with sun lounges, table and chairs.

Surroundings

Quinta Queimada, the farmhouse Algarve, is located in the hills 10 km east of fairy-like Silves.
There are local bars and restaurants within 2km and the coast is only a 25 minute drive away.
The nearby village of Pedreira has a small shop and bar/restaurant, but Silves has all amenities.

Although Quinta Queimada is situated in the interior of the Algarve, all necessary facilities and highlights are within small distance from the farmhouse Silves.
The old fairy-like Silves, the former Moorish capital of the Algarve, is only 10 kilometres away from the farm house Silves. It’s a pleasant town on a hill with cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and a castle. Messines is a typical Portuguese village with an authentic center, sunny terraces and charming cafés.
From the farm house Silves towards the beautiful coast of the Algarve is only 25 minutes by car. Here you’ll find lively coastal resorts as well as small fishing villages where you can still experience a Portuguese atmosphere. The coastal area of the Algarve is spectacular with its golden rock formations and attractive sandy beaches.
If you are looking for an active holiday, there are lots of possibilities for snorkeling, diving, sailing, jet skiing, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis and golf. You can also go on a dolphin or jeep safari.
