Quinta Queimada is a charming farmhouse situated within a 3.5ha plot on top of a small hill, about 10km east of Silves in the central Algarve. It has three bedrooms, all En-suite, a large lounge and a kitchen/dining room. Outside you will find beautiful plant covered terraces, two barbecue areas and a private swimming pool. From its hilltop position, it has stunning mountain views and is ideally placed for exploring this area on foot, mountain bike or horseback. If you are looking for a lush, beautiful, peaceful place to spend your holiday this house fits the bill. There are local bars and restaurants within 2km and the coast is only a 25 minute drive away.

Within 7 days of provisional booking, a deposit of 50% of the total agreed price and the signed contract should be returned to us.
The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date.
You will then receive a booking confirmation.
Bookings made less than 6 weeks from arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
A damage deposit of 250 Euro must be paid on arrival, refundable on departure.
Guests can access the property from 16.00 hours on day of arrival and must vacate the property by 10.00 on day of departure.

What else you get

On arrival, all of our guests receive a welcome refreshment pack, consisting of a selection of cold drinks, some snacks and some fresh fruit of the season. We will explain how to get to local shops, bars restaurants, supermarkets and beaches. For the use of guests, each villa has various maps of the area, some guide books and some tourist information that you will find useful. Some have board games, outdoor games, and a library of paperback books. All have radios and CD players, most have TV´s, satellite systems and DVD players. We are happy to assist with any car hire, mountain-bike hire, at home catering and babysitting arrangements you may need.

Car Hire

As you know by now, this house is in a semi rural location. In this case, we recommend a hire car or mini-bus for getting about, exploring and stocking up. We would also recommend hiring vehicles fitted with air conditioning for periods between June and September. We can take care of all of the arrangements, choose from the various options, email us your requirements, we will provide you with a fixed quote, and your car will be ready for collection at Faro airport on your arrival. You simply drop the car back at the airport when you return.
